The Workshop 2 meeting, held online on October 1, 2024, focused on developing
evaluation tools, techniques, and strategies for the TCCWB project. The agenda
included an introduction to the Finnish higher education system and nursing education
at Turku University of Applied Sciences (TUAS), followed by a discussion on using the
ADDIE instructional model to plan project training. Participants discussed the analysis of
learning needs, the design of coherent learning modules, and the exploration of diverse
teaching methodologies such as simulation, case-based learning, and role-play. A
significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to selecting assessment instruments,
including the Cultural Competence Assessment (CCA) tool and the Transcultural Self-
Efficacy Tool (TSET).
The workshop concluded with a summary of "to-do" items, such as reviewing the WHO cultural competence course and planning for the integration of learning modules into
local curricula
