On June 3–4, 2026, the premises of the Shkodra University Library “Luigj Gurakuqi” hosted the E 5.2 Albanian Dissemination Conference and the E7.5 Sc meeting in the framework of the project titled: “Supporting the Development of Transcultural Competence for Healthcare Professionals in the Western Balkans (TCCWB)”.

The event brought together representatives from partner universities and institutions from Albania, the Western Balkans, and the European Union, creating an important space for exchanging experiences and strengthening cooperation in developing transcultural competences in the field of healthcare.

The conference was opened by the Vice-Rector of UNISHK, Prof. Dr. Blerta Dragusha. Attendees were also welcomed by Ena Bučan (FAMI) and Dino Mujkić (SMOC), who praised the project’s importance for the development of healthcare systems and higher education in the region.

As part of the event, the new cabinet funded by the Erasmus+ TCCWB project was also inaugurated, a significant investment for strengthening the academic and professional capacities of the university.

On the second day, discussions focused on the challenges of providing healthcare services to communities from diverse cultural backgrounds, as well as the project’s progress and future activities.
